1969 Rolex Day-Date 18K RG Day-Date Silver Dial with Portuguese Day Disk

Case: The 18k rose gold case has recently been polished and shows only light wear from use. The 18k rose gold fluted bezel is also in excellent condition showing only light wear from use.

Dial: The silver dial is excellent showing only very light wear for its age. The rose gold applied "doorstop" markers are also excellent showing only very light wear for their age. The lume has aged to a warm sandy hue and the hands match perfectly.

Bracelet: The rare Swiss made 18k rose gold jubilee bracelet has 21 links and shows less than light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1966 date code.

Accessories: None.

Notes: This is the watch equivalent of a 2 martini lunch. Although maybe those martinis are Caipirinhas. And that stuffy restaurant down in the financial district is actually an open-air rooftop bar in São Paulo. And really you don't have to go back to the office for at least another week or two. And yes another drink sounds great, but this time just a Cachaça neat por favor.
