Case: The sharp 42mm 18K yellow gold case is in excellent, unpolished condition, showing only light wear from use. The newer bezel insert is also in excellent condition and has aged to a coppery hue, showing only light wear from use.

Dial: The gold dial is excellent, showing only extremely light wear for its age. The black Onyx markers are excellent, showing no visible wear. The gold & black enamel hands are also in excellent condition and appear to be original to the watch.

Bracelet: New brown leather strap with gold-tone buckle.

Accessories: None.

Notes: Bearing the inscription "First Watch Worn on the Moon." This low serial number Speedmaster falls just slightly outside of the number believed to be from the first batch, which were given to astronauts of the Apollo program and politicians. This watch was bought from the son of the original owner. I asked him if he felt bad about selling his dad's watch to which he replied. "no, my dad was an asshole"
