1967 Rolex Daytona 6239 Black "Blue Daytona" Dial with Box and Papers

Case: The thick and even case has recently been polished and shows only light wear from use. The stainless bezel insert is also in excellent condition and shows only light wear from use. The watch was serviced at Rolex in the past and the movement was updated with the newer 727 movement (6239 originally came with 722 movements) and the caseback was updated to a 6236 caseback. Both of these components where produced later and used in 6239's as service replacement components.

Dial: The black dial is excellent showing only very light wear for its age. All lume plots with the exception of the 3 and 9 o'clok plots are present. The lume plots have aged to a warm creamy hue and the hands have aged several shades lighter than the dial. All lume glows brightly when exposed to UV and the hands fall off slightly slower than the dial.

Bracelet: The 12 link folded Oyster bracelet is excellent showing only light stretch for its age.
