1967 Rolex 18k WG Day-Date 1803 Black Racing Dial

Case: The 18k WG case has previously been polished and shows very light wear. The 18k wg fluted bezel is also in excellent condition and shows very light wear.

Dial: The matte black dial is excellent and shows light wear from age. The lume has aged to a warm sandy hue and the hands have aged a few shades lighter than the dial. There is a repair to the lume on the hour hand. All lume glows brightly when exposed to UV and falls off rapidly at the same rate.

Bracelet: The 21 link 18k WG president bracelet is excellent with little to no stretch for its age. I suspect the band has had to have been rebuilt because of how little stretch it has.

Notes: The addition of Arabic second indexes on the outer ring of the dial gives this 1803 a subtle sportiness.
