1966 Rolex Submariner 5513 Tropical Gilt Dial

Case: The previously polished case is excellent showing sharp, wide, and prominent bevels that closely resemble the factory profile. The case shows only light wear from use The bezel insert is also excellent and has faded to a medium blue-grey hue showing only light wear from use.

Dial: The glossy black gilt dial is excellent and shows a deep ornage tropical speckling patina that becomes more prominent in the upper right hand corner of the dial. The lume has aged to a warm creamy hue and the hands have been relumed and color-matched to the dial. The lume on the dial glows brightly when exposed to UV and falls off rapidly at the same rate.

Bracelet: The 12 link Oyster bracelet is excellent showing only very light stretch. The clasp is stamped with a 2009 date code.

Notes: A subtle but beautiful tropical gradient graces the dial of this phenomenal 5513.
