1966 Rolex Submariner 5513 Meters First

Case: The excellent semi sleeve polished case showing light wear for its age. The black fat font bezel insert is fading to a warm dark grey and shows very light wear for its age. The original pearl is present and intact.

Dial: Excellent satin black meters first dial showing little if any wear. The lume plots have aged to a warm sandy hue and the hands have aged slightly darker.

Bracelet: The 11 link oyster bracelet is excellent with very light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1976 date code.

Accessories: None

Notes: Though lumped together with matte dials, these first dials that came after the transition from gilt have a beautiful satin luster and their own unique qualities and characteristics.
