1966 Rolex DateJust 1600 Tropical Dial

Case: The recently polished case is excellent showing only very light wear from use. The smooth bezel is also in excellent condition showing only very light wear.

Dial: The gilt dial is excellent showing a graduated tropical patin fading from a deep brown to a rich coppery hue in a beautiful marbled pattern. Most of the lume plots are missing some or all of their luminous mass and the remaining lume has aged to a dark sage hue. All lume glows brightly when exposed to UV and falls off at just slightly different rates.

Bracelet: The 20 link Jubilee bracelet is excellent showing average stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1971 date code.
