1965 Rolex Date 1501 Tropical Gilt Dial

Case: Excellent case that shows light wear for its age. The stainless engine turned bezel is also excellent showing light wear.

Dial: The gilt dial has aged to a rich glossy brown hue. The lume has aged to a warm creamy hue and the hands have aged several shades darker than the dial.

Bracelet: The 12 link swiss rivet bracelet is excellent and shows some stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1964 date code.

Accessories: None.

Notes: With rich warm colors and an intricate pattern, the dial appears remarkably similar to the burlwood of a coastal redwood.
