1964 Rolex Submariner 5513 Tropical Gilt Dial

Case: The recently polished case is excellent showing sharp prominent bevels and only very light wear from use. The bezel insert is also in excellent condition and has faded to a silvery lavender-blue hue.

Dial: The gilt dial has aged with an extensive and even pattern of tropical speckling patina showing many little vibrant amber dots where the under layers of the dial are beginning to show through. The lume has aged to a dark creamy hue and the hands match perfectly. All lume glows brightly when exposed to UV and falls off rapidly at the same rate.

Bracelet: The 12 link Swiss rivet bracelet is excellent showing only light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1965 date code.
