1964 Rolex Daytona 6239 "Blue" Dial

Case: Excellent case that shows light wear from use. The bezel is also in excellent condition and shows very light wear.

Dial: The excellent blue Daytona dial is very clean with warm creamy lume plots. The subdials show some light patina and are in excellent condition. The 3 and 6 o'clock lume plots are missing part of their luminous mass. The hands are newer tritium units and have aged a few shades lighter than the dial.

Bracelet: The 15 link Oysterflex bracelet is in excellent and very tight. The clasp is stamped with a 1967 date code.

Notes: The slight blue tint of the white enamel spelling out "Daytona" on the black dial 6239s is the reason why people first started calling these Blue Daytona Dials.
