1963 Rolex Pre-Daytona Chronograph 6238 Silver Dial

Case: The previously polished case is excellent showing some light wear from use. There is a slightly more prominent scratch on the tip of the 5 o'clock lug.

Dial: The silver dial is very good showing average wear for its age. There is a light speckling patina showing on the surface of the dial. There is a light tool maker at the 275 index and some light staining around the very outer edge of the dial. Most of the lume plots are missing some or all of their luminous mass. The hands appear to be original to the watch and have aged to a light sage hue. All lume glows brightly when exposed to UV and falls off rapidly at the same rate.

Bracelet: The 11 link Gay Frères Swiss rivet bracelet is excellent showing average stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1965 date code.
