1963 Rolex Explorer 1016 Gilt Dial

Case: Very good case and bezel that have light wear from use.

Dial: Very Good glossy black gilt dial aging with a dark tropical gradient with the warmest and most brown portion of the dial between the center post and the 3 o'clock marker. The lume has turned to a creamy hue with some darker portions from age. The hands have aged lighter than the dial with the exception of the base of the minute hand which has aged to a dark sage hue. All lume glows brightly when exposed to UV and falls off rapidly at the same rate which is correct for this era.

Bracelet: Excellent and newer 12 link oyster bracelet attached to the watch with 580 end links. The bracelet has light stretch from age and the clasp is stamped with a 2002 date code.
