1962 Rolex Submariner 5512 Gilt Chapter Ring Dial

Case: The previously polished case is excellent showing wide prominent bvels and only light wear from use. The black bezel is also in excellent condition and is fading to a dark grey tone. The original crystal is showing some crazing from age.

Dial: The glossy gilt chapter ring dial is excellent showing only extremely light wear for its age. The lume has aged to a warm sandy hue and the hands match perfectly. All lume glows brightly when exposed to UV and falls off rapidly at the same rate which is correct for this series of dial.

Bracelet: The 12 link Swiss rivet bracelet is excellent showing only light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a matching 1962 date code.
