1962 Rolex Submariner 5508 with 4 Line Gilt Dial

Case: The recently polished case is excellent showing sharp prominent bevels and only light wear from use. The bezel insert is also in excellent condition and has faded to a blue grey hue showing only light wear from use.

Dial: The glossy black gilt dial is excellent showing a speckling patina that is a mix of both amber and black dots. There is one slightly larger spot just to the right of the word "Chronometer". The lume has aged to a warm creamy hue and the hands match perfectly All lume glows brightly when exposed to UV and falls off rapidly at the same rate.

Bracelet: The 12 link Swiss rivet bracelet is excellent showing only light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1960 date code.
