1962 Rolex PCG Submariner 5512 Gilt with Tropical Gilt Chapter Ring Dial

Case: The previously polished case is excellent and features wide, sharp, and prominent bevels. The fate font bezel insert is fading to a dark satin blue and shows very light wear for its age.

Dial: The gilt chapter ring dial is excellent with an extensive and even spider-craking patina across the surface of the dial. The dial is beginning to turn tropical with warm metallic gold tones coming through the black lacquer. The lume has aged to a warm creamy hue and the hands have been relumed and color-matched to the dial.

Bracelet: The 13 link Swiss rivet bracelet is excellent and shows very light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1963 date code.

Notes: The subtle tropical tones showing through the black lacquer like the first rays of sunlight at dawn.
