1961 Rolex Submariner 5512 Tropical Chapter Ring Dial with Box and Papers

Case: The case is thick and even and shows average wear for its age. The Bezel insert is also in excellent condition, and has aged to a dark charcoal grey tone, showing only light wear from use.

Dial: The excellent chaptering dial has aged with a glossy brown tropical patina showing overall only very light wear for its age; however, there is some hand drag present towards the center of the dial. The lume has aged to a warm, creamy hue, and the hands match perfectly.

Bracelet: The 12-link Swiss rivet bracelet is excellent, showing only light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1962 date code.
