Case: The excellent pointed crown guard case has been polished in the past and shows wide prominent bevels and some wear from use. The fat font pepsi bezel insert has lightly faded with age and the finish now appears more satin than glossy.
Dial: The gilt underline dial is excellent with an extensive and evenly distributed spider cracking patina on its surface. The tall puffy lume plots have aged to a warm creamy hue. There is some light lume loss present on the 6, 7, 8, and 9 o'clock markers. The hands are somewhat newer tritium units most likely installed in the late 60's early 70's and have aged almost to almost the exact same hue as the lume on the dial. The lume on the dial glows brightly when exposed to UV and the hands do not react.
Bracelet: The 11 link Oyster bracelet is very good showing average stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1988 date code.
Accessories: None.
Notes: A sharp thin pointed crown guard case, a perfectly faded fat font insert, and a gilt Swiss only Underline dial.
