1960 Rolex PCG Submariner 5512 Tropical Gilt Dial

Case: The previously polished pointed crown guard case is excellent showing prominent levels and average wear from use. The black bezel has faded to a medium charcoal grey and shows light wear from use.

Dial: The glossy gilt chapter ring dial is excellent and has aged with a warm spackled tropical raindrop patina. The lume has aged to a warm creamy hue and the hands match perfectly. All lume glows brightly when exposed to UV and falls off rapidly at the same rate which is correct for this series of dial.

Bracelet: The 12 link Swiss rivet bracelet is excellent showing only very light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1964 date code.
