1958 Rolex Big Crown Submariner 5510 Tropical Dial

Case: The case is excellent, showing wide, sharp, prominent bevels and only light wear from use. The red triangle bezel is also in excellent condition, showing only light wear from use.

Dial: The gilt dial is excellent and has aged with a speckled brown tropical patina, showing only very light wear for its age. The lume has aged to a warm sandy hue, and the hands match perfectly. The 6 o'clock lume plot correctly appears slightly lighter and glows brighter under UV than the rest of the lume, as it was given more luminous material from the factory.

Bracelet: The "big logo" 12-link Oyster-Flex bracelet is excellent, showing only extremely light sag or stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1959 date code.
