1957 Rolex 18K RG DateJust 6605 with Tropical Serpico Y Laino Dial

Case: The 18k rose gold case is excellent showing very light wear for its age. The rose gold fluted bezel is sharp and shows very light wear.

Dial: The glossy gilt Serpico Y Laino dial has aged with a graduated and patterned tropical patina. The lume plots have aged to a sandy hue and the original sword hands match perfectly. All lume glows dimly when exposed to UV and falls off rapidly at the same rate.

Bracelet: The 19 link 18k rose gold jubilee bracelet is excellent showing light stretch for its age.

Accessories: None.

Notes: The lightning patterned patina criss crossing the glossy gilt dial of this 6605 is one of the few indicators that this very contemporary looking dress watch is almost 65 years old.
