1972 Rolex DateJust 1600 Silver Dial

Case: The previously polished case is very good and shows light wear from use. The smooth stainless bezel is excellent and shows light wear.

Dial: The silver dial is excellent and very clean. Many of the lume plots are missing some or all of their luminous mass. The remaining lume glows brightly when exposed to UV and falls off rapidly at the same rate. The hands have aged significantly darker than the dial and glow dimly when exposed to UV.

Bracelet: The 22 folded link bracelet is very good and shows moderate stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a matching 1972 date code.

Accessories: None.

Notes The smooth bezel of the 1600 sets it apart from the more common 1601 and 1603 Datejusts.
